As we celebrate 250 years, I hope we remember that the American story is still being written, not only by presidents, lawmakers, courts, or institutions, but by each of us. By how we speak to each other, how we listen, how we forgive, and how we care for our communities when no one is watching. Our character shows up one decision and one story at a time, and there is impact in how we show up.

Civics is not only what we know about government. It is who we decide to be for one another.
