Mark this Moment

A Birthday Letter to America

Our nation turns 250 on July 4th — a time to bring Americans together on its birthday. We're asking business leaders across the country to mark this moment with something simple and lasting: a letter.

Think of it as a virtual time capsule. A hundred years from now, anyone can open it and read American business leaders' thoughts during this historic milestone. Your letter can be part of that record.

The Idea

A Birthday Letter to America is a letter from you — to your employees, your members, your community — about what America's 250th means to you, what your company stands for, and what you believe this country can be. Not a corporate statement. Not a press release. A genuine letter, in your voice, sent to your people in June.

If you're already planning to say something to your people about this milestone, we'd love for you to be part of this. And if you haven't thought about it yet — now's the time.

A letter to your team is simple. A wave of letters, across industries and communities, sent in the weeks before July 4th — that’s what creates a moment.
